Let’s explore Gulmarg and Doodhpathri . A place where we all had waited for the last few days, which is called Gulmarg and Doodhpathri. We found a lot of ice where I can jump, lay and capture photos with a lot of activities. So let’s explore the super land Gulmarg!
To Gulmarg
In the morning at 9 am we left the hotel to Gulmarg, after 3 hours mostly needed to arrive there as I remembered. After arriving then, you will meet a lot of people who are offering you many activities which actually you will never enjoy. So, how to skip them? The agency people will guide you about it.
Booking an Agency
Our agency name was KASHMIR HEAVEN TOUR & TRAVEL. Their services were awesome! Just Awesome! They will help you to skip. You can confidently book them without any hesitation.
Riding the Cable Car
You have to paddle a little way to CABLE CAR station and need to join a long queue to enter. We needed 1.5 hours mostly to arrive inside of it. After going in we sat on a cable car for 10 mins on the way to Gulmarg.
Ice Playtime
After arriving the scenario was just ICE and ICE, hahaha wow wow wow! I still feel goosebumps when sharing this to you. I was so happy that day & called my family to share this wonderful scenario.
Available Activities
Skiing
I am not an expert on it, I am not used to wearing these heavy shoes before. It’s really hard to do what I experienced for the first time.
I just tried mostly triple time then I gave up for this haahah & couldn’t continue. I asked them how many days actually needed to practice to be an expert? They answered, “1 month mostly”.
ATV ride
After skiing, we went for ATV rides. They will first teach you how to drive and then they can pass to you the ATV but they will sit behind you. You will enjoy this ride with most videos and photos.
Sledge Ride
This ride is not common for everyone i know, there available people are pushing it forward to run. It’s completely made of wood and they made it run without any engine or battery. It’s scary and very enjoyable. You must try this, if you really want to have the real experience of ice.
Should you tip to guides?
So, in the evening we were ready to go back to the hotel and yeah don’t forget to pay a tip to them before leaving this wonderful place with wonderful people. They really worked hard to make us happy.
To Doodhpathri
After the super experience that day, the next morning, we were on our way to Doodhpathri. This place was kind of similar to Gulmarg. There was ice everywhere, so we had nothing left to do there.
Capture Your Memories with Reels
We just went to make some videos and have a look at what actually could be done there. The most interesting activities there were paragliding, horse riding, etc. We didn’t do any activities there because we were tired.
